Funeral service for William Howard Brooks, 81, of Ruidoso will be Tuesday, June 18, at 1:30 PM at First Christian Church with Frankie Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow at Ft. Stanton Cemetery.
Mr. Brooks passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in Las Cruces. He was born February 19, 1932 at Houston, Texas. He attended the University of Houston and was owneroperator of his own office cleaning business in Houston. He moved to Ruidoso in 1998 from Fulshear, Texas. He served in the Marines during the Korean War.
He is survived by is wife, Betty Brooks children, Deborah Brooks, William Howard Brooks III, Michael Alexander Brooks, Barbara Ann Lewis, Patricia Jean Carter, Kelly Lewis, Daniel Ray Lewis, and Charles Norman Lewis 13 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
