Vonna Gilbert

Vonna Lea Gilbert, 83, of Angus, NM passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 at her home. She was born August 18, 1933 at Roswell, NM and moved to Lincoln County in 1992 from Artesia, NM. She is a lifelong member of the Nazarene Church and her current membership is with the Angus Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Gilbert; children, Sharon Lee Yocom, Rhonda Diane Vaughan, Daniel Wayne Gilbert and Randall Bryan Gilbert; two brothers, Denzel Finney and Larry Finney; 17 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth James Gilbert and Donald Keith Gilbert and three brothers, Kester Finney, Kenneth Finney and Kelly Finney.

Memorial service will be Saturday, July 29, at 2:00 P.M. in the Angus Church of the Nazarene. Officiating will be the Rev. Rick Hutchison, Rev. Stan Yocom and Rev. Chris Yocom.
