Prayer service for Virginia Jaurequi, 85, of Carrizozo will be Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 7:00 PM in Santa Rita's Catholic Church in Carrizozo where the funeral mass will be on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. Jaurequi passed away Friday, Feb. 13, 2009 in Lincoln County and was born August 6, 1923 in Capitan. She was loving and caring to her family and friends and was strong willed and hard working. She was a homemaker and had lived in Lincoln County all of her life and attended Santa Rita's Catholic Church. She is survived by two daughters, Helen Lueras of Alamogordo and Mary Lee Zamora of Carrizozo; a son, Ray Moya of Albuquerque; 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
