Vincent Kayitah Sr.

George Kayitah, 72, of Mescalero passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at his home in Mescalero. He was born February 21, 1942 at Mescalero and had lived there all of his life.
He was a Cowboy at Cow Camp 1, had worked at Ski Apache and at the Inn of the Mountain Gods.

He is survived by his children, Karen S. Kayitah, Vincent Karl Kayitah Sr., Austin Vince Kayitha, Georgiana, Samantha Hubbard brothers and sisters, Alfred Kayitah Sr., Kenneth Kayitah Jr., Clarinda Kayitah, Abigail Tahnito, Donna Mae Lang, Jeanine Balatche and Theresa Kayitah 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 11, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. The prayer service will be Wednesday, June 11, at 6:00 PM at the Mescalero Community Center where the funeral service will be on Thursday, June 12, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
