Vance Sidwell

Visitation for Vance Sidwell, 47, of Nogal will be Friday, June 4, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso from Noon until 2:00 PM with the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Cremation will follow with burial of his cremated remains on Monday, June 7. at 2:00 PM at the Nogal Cemetery.

Mr. Sidwell passed away Monday, May 31, 2010 at his home. He was born March 21, 1963 at Socorro, New Mexico and had lived in Lincoln County all of his life. He was Past Fire Chief for the Nogal Volunteer Fire Department and was a pump repairman for Chad Harvey Drilling.

He is survived by his son, David Sidwell of Nogal his parents, Jerry Evelyn Sidwell of Nogal a brother, Bruce A. Hunter and his wife Charlotte of Tonopah, Arizona two sisters, Nancy Murray and her husband Bill of Roswell and Melinda Furness of Tonopah, Arizona.

The family has requested memorials to the American Diabetes Association.
