Valera Neff

Funeral services for Valera Mom Yerby Neff, 93 of Alto, were held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday August 24, 2010 at the First Christian Church in Ruidoso. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday August 27, 2010 at Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster, Texas.

Mrs. Neff was born on August 13, 1917 at Enis, Texas and passed from this life on August 21, 2010 to be with her husband of 42 years, Isaac Neff. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Ernestine Alexander, Evelyn Parnell, and Ina Faye Yerby, two brothers, Marvin Yerby and Bud Yerby, and one stepson, Don Neff. She lived in the beautiful mountains of Ruidoso for the past eleven years with her daughter and soninlaw, Marilyn and Paul Ragland. She is also survived by one son, John, two grandsons, David Cason II and David Neff and his wife Barbara, two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Katie Neff, many nieces, nephews, and friends. She led a long, full, and loving life and will be dearly missed
