V. Davis

Smokey Davis of Agua Fria passed away at his home Friday, February 14, 2014. He was born November 24, 1928 in Hagerman, NM

Smokey was a native New Mexican. He earned a Masters Degree in Engineering and spent his career in the defense industry, working with different agencies on various programs. His great love was flying and building experimental aircraft.

He and Sue were married in Las Cruces in 1976. He subsequently left the defense industry and he and his wife became partners in the development of Agua Fria Estates.
He is survived by his partner and wife Sue, a daughter Diana Robersen and husband Dave of Springfield, Oregon, a son Tad Davis of Las Cruces, and sons Bret KnightMark and Bruce Mark both of Ruidoso, Seven grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
