Una Spitty

Una Ester Spitty born March 1, 1950 in Mescalero, New Mexico. Una went home to be with her heavenly father on June 18, 2019. Una lived in Mescalero all her life. She had worked at the Mescalero Tribal Store for many years until she retired to be a homemaker. She is proceeded in death by her parents Davis & Flora Spitty, a brother Eldon Spitty, a sister Clara Spitty, son Garland Yulay and a daughter Kathleen Spitty.

Una survived by companion Merlin Choneska, her sisters Emma Dawn Aragon and husband Raymond Aragon, Zelda Speedy and Angelora Spitty and brothers Oral Spitty Sr. and Kenton Spitty. Una is also survived by her daughter Melanie Kanseah, her granchildren Jacob Spitty, Tara Calderara, Ernestine Shanta, Ivy LaPaz, Dilon Valdez, Megan Valdez, Tyler Valdez, Madison Valdez, Branson Lester, Harlan Lester and Theodore Torres, her great-grandchildren Raynard Chee Jr., Hudson Calderara, and Ilyana Calderara. Also, by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends.

The viewing for Una will be Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the La Grone Funeral Home from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Prayer Service Sunday evening at 6 o'clock. Funeral Service Monday, June 24, 2019 at 10:00 am all services will be at the Apache Assembly of God church in Mescalero.

Interment to follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
