Timothy Spitty

Timothy Nelson Spitty was born on January 2, 1977, to Rema P. Spitty and Oral Spitty, Sr., and passed away on November 1, 2021, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is preceded in death by his mother, Rema P. Spitty, and survived by his wife Letitia A. Spitty, sons Tristen J. Spitty and Cullen U. Spitty, father Oral Spitty, Sr., and brothers Oral Spitty, Jr. and Eric D. Spitty.

Tim attended the Mescalero Apache Elementary School and graduated from Tularosa High School. Tim served 22 years at the Bureau of Indian Affairs as a Telecommunication and Transport Officer.

Tim was raised in the Apache Assembly of God church where he would later become the sound engineer. His willingness to help grew into devoting his time to help his community as a baseball coach for the Mescalero Apache youth. All those who knew Tim would often describe him as having a heart of gold and always willing to help those in need. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gaming, golfing, and cheering for his favorite football team, the Washington Redskins.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Mescalero Community Football Field in Mescalero, New Mexico, and interment to follow at the Mescalero Apache Cemetery
