Tanya Sanders

Visitation for Tanya Sanders, 62, of Alto will be Thursday, January 27, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM with the memorial service at 4:00 PM.

Mrs. Sanders passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 in Alto. She was born May 8, 1948 at Calixico, California to Allen and Ray Traughber. She married Gene Sanders on August 11, 1983 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They moved to Lincoln County 5 years ago from California. She was the administrative secretary at Cree Meadows Country Club in Ruidoso and was an active member of Grace Harvest Church and touch mulitple hearts.

She is survived by her husband, Gene of Alto two daughters, Lynell Bertinotti of Bloomington, California and Cheri Haug of Ivins, Utah sister, Lynell Vaughan of Hemet, California brother, Bobby Traughber of Riverside, California 4 grandchildren, Amanda Herrera, Ashley Hurlburt, Jessica Bertinotti, and Mikey Haug Jr. one great grandchild, Marcus Herrera. She was preceded in death by a son, Gene Sanders III on October 4, 1992.

Cremation will follow under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso.
