Susan McNutt

Susan McNutt, age 72, passed away December 25, 2023, in Capitan, New Mexico. She was born on January 7, 1951, in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Patsy and Russell Thrasher.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Steven Malcolm McNutt. Susan is survived by her daughter, Stefani McNutt; grandchildren, Ruby Max Alley, and Stella Ames Alley; sister, Sally McKay, and husband Mike; niece, Lauren Benschotr; and nephew, Ryan McKay.

Always having a comeback, Susan was known for her quick wit and humor. Her big personality lit up every room she entered. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is finally at peace and is now headed to Durango to reunite with her beloved husband Steven who she missed dearly.
