Steve Chapman

Steve Chapman, 71, of Capitan passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 at his home.  He was born January 20, 1948 in Fullerton, California and moved to Lincoln County in 1974 from California.  He had served in the Army during the Vietnam War.  He had taught in many school districts in Southern New Mexico.  He married Katherine Leslie on July 2, 1971 and she preceded him in death on May 23, 2015.

He is survived by two daughters, Daisy Langston and Sara Chapman and one granddaughter, Rebecca Langston.

His graveside service will be Friday, December 13, at 2:00 P.M. in the LaGloria Cemetery.
