Stephen Ortiz

A rosary was recited for Stevie John Ortiz, 31, of carrizozo on Wednesday, July 23, at 7:00 PM with the funeral mass on Thursday, July 24, at 10:00 Am in Santa Rita's Catholic Church in Carrizozo.

Stevie Blockhead Ortiz passed away on July 14, 2008 surrounded by his loved one's at his side in Albuquerque. Stevie John, a life long resident of Carrizozo and a graduate of Carrizozo High School, was born on October 15, 1976 to Steve Ortiz and Deb Marquea. Stevie John loved many things in life, like hunting, drag racing, sports, mechanics, spending quality time with family and friends, most of all he loved being with his son Ethan.

Stevie John is survived by his son, Ethan John Daniel Ortiz of Carrizozo; his daughter, Taylor Nicole Rowe of Ruidoso; his parents, Steve Ortiz and Deb Marquez Carrizozo; sister, Diana Ortiz and her husband Junior Montoya of Artesia.
