Stephen Orosco

Stephen Sanchez Orosco, 19, of Mescalero returned to the kingdom of Heaven on June 22, 2014 in Mescalero, NM. He was born on November 30, 1994 and lived in Mescalero all of his life. He was a graduate of Mescalero Apache School, class of 2013. He was involved in basketball, crosscountry, football. He enjoyed snowboarding and was working on being a wildland fire fighter. He believed in his faith and culture very much.

Stephen is survived by his parents David and Ardena Orosco of Mescalero and his sisters, Blair Orosco and Lily Comanche, his brother Cullen Orosco and a niece Malair Orosco and a nephewGod son, Maloy Orosco. He was also survived by his Paternal grandparents John and Bonnie Hubbard of Mescalero and his Maternal grandparents Arden and Holly Comanche Sr. and numerous Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents.

Stephen was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, Ralph Orosco and his Maternal Grandmother Nora Standing Elk.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 25, at 3 Carrizo Trails in Mescalero from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. The Rosary service will be Wednesday, June 25, at 6:00 PM at the St. Joseph Apache Mission where the funeral service will be on Thursday, June 26, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Mescalero Cemetery

Stephen was deeply loved by all of his family and friends and will be sorely missed.
