Sophie Sago

Visitation for Sophie Sago, 66, of Mescalero will be Thursday, Nov. 20, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM in LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso. The prayer service will be Thursday at 6:00 PM in the Mescalero Assembly of God Church where the funeral service will be on Friday, Nov. 21, at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at the Mescalero Cemetery. Mrs. Sago passed away Monday, November 17, 2008 in El Paso, Texas. She was born March 8, 1942 at Mescalero and had lived there all of her life. She had worked as a cook at the Mescalero Elderly Center and the Mescalero Jail and was currently a homemaker. She attended the Mescalero Assembly of God Church. She is survived by three children, Therman Wade Sago, Myron James Fatty-Sago, and Greta Mardell Sago; two grandchildren, Arieal Second and Gregory Second; and a sister, Pauline Murphy.
