Shirley Ann (Morgan) Murry, 74, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Shirley was born on October 12, 1942 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Elmer and Thelma (Campo) Morgan.
Shirley worked for the Rangely School District for many years. After retiring from the school district, she enjoyed painting and crafting. Shirley was active in her church. She drove the church bus and took great joy in telling others about the Lord. Shirley enjoyed her friends and family especially her grandchildren and would often tell them "Let's make a memory".
Shirley is survived by her children and their spouses, James Wall (Cindy) and Michael Wall (Mallory) from her union with James D. Wall, Leslie (Guy) Blakely (Hondo) from her union with Ronald J. Guy, Sabrina (Murry) Schuller (Glenn), and Phillip Murry, two sisters, Bonnie Yount and Wanda Elo, and a brother Ronald Morgan numerous grand and great grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Bill Murry, her parents, Elmer and Thelma (Campo) Morgan, one sister, Penny Morgan, and two brothers, Wayne and John Morgan.
A celebration of Shirley's life will be Thursday, January 12, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at LaGrone Funeral Chapel with Pastor Wayne Joyce officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Stanton Cemetery. A visitation will be Thursday, January 12, 2017 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso, New Mexico from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
