Shelton Ortega

Prayer service for Shelton Ortega, 69, of Mescalero will be Thursday, Sept. 15, at 6:00 PM in St. Josephs Mission at Mescalero, the funeral procession will leave the church on Friday, Sept. 16, at 5:30 AM witht the burial at Rinconada.

Mr. Ortega passed Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Rapid City, South Dakota. He was born September 5, 1942 at Mescalero. He attended St. Josephs Mission.

He is survived by his daughters, Isabel Waites, Toni Little, Shaylene Jaramillo and Fedilas Orosco sons, Saffie Ortega, Travis Ortega, Shelton Ortega Jr., Hansen Ortega, Paschal Ortega and Julian Ortega his brother, Paul Ortega half sister, Delores Perez and Olivia Ortega half brother, Tony Ortega. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Kazhe father, Tony Ortega and sister, Fleta Padilla.
