SARAH LYNN DI PAOLO died August 13, 2010 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She was born and raised in Ruidoso New Mexico on June 27, 1989. She attended ENMU College after graduating from Ruidoso High School. She loved art and jewelry making, which after learning she had cancer, she sold to raise money for awareness for other cancer patients. She was an active member in the Relay for Life and raised money for research for the treatment and cure for cancer. Sarah had an immense compassion for people and animals. She did volunteer work at the Humane Society where she tried to help less fortunate animals find homes, including many to her own home.

Sarah was a selfless individual and was always thinking of others before herself. Her sweet smile and kind spirit will forever be missed and will always be remembered by her countless friends and family. She is survived by her parents Jill and Phil Di Paolo her sisters Stephanie Di Paolo and Susanne Herbst her niece Hanna her grandparents Sue and Jeff Chapman and Shirley and Phyllis Smith . She will also be missed by her many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly. We will all miss the ray of sunshine that she brought into our lives and her beautiful smile that touched us all.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 18, 2010 in the First Baptist Church of Ruidoso at 1:00 P.M. with burial to follow at the RuidosoHondo Valley Cemetery at Ruidoso Downs.

The family has requested memorials to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Lincoln County.
