Sara Peso

Sara Peso, 101, of Mescalero passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Mescalero. She was born on January 20, 1908 at LaLuz, NM.

At the time of her death Mrs. Peso was the oldest member of the Mescalero Apache Tribe. She had lived there all of her life.

She is survived by her children, Gervase Peso and Dominic Peso both of Mescalero and Rosemary Swanson of Mobile, Alabama.

Mrs. Peso had requested that no services be held.
