Sara Gold

Sara Ella Gold, 90, of Ruidoso passed away Friday, May 26, at the Mescalero Care Center. She was born March 14, 1917 in Ryan, Oklahoma to George and Annie Nicholson. When she retired as beauty operator in Kermit, Texas she moved to Ruidoso to be near her only daughter. She enjoyed the Ruidoso Woman's Club and loved playing bridge. She is survived by a brother, James A. Nicholson of Houston, Texas; several nieces and nephews and her son-in-law, Leonard Shows of Ruidoso. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Gold; her daughter, Girley Q. Shows; her parents, George and annie Nicholson.
