Sandra Chavez

Memorial service for Sandy Chavez, 53, of Carrizozo will be Thursday, June 23, at 2:00 PM at the Carrizozo Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Chavez passed away Saturday, June 18, in Socorro County, New Mexico. She was born February 5, 1958 at Overbrook, Kansas.

Mrs. Chavez had lived in Carrizozo for 36 years moving from Phoenix, Arizona. She was owneroperator of the Carrizozo Thrift and Flee Market and attended the Carrizozo Assembly of God Church. She married George Chavez on May 7, 2011 at Carrizozo.

She is survived by her husband George two sons, Dave Vermilion Jr. and Jimmy Vermilion her mother, Gloria Sizemore two sisters, Glenda Frank and Nikki Liclyther and 9 grandchildren.
