Ruth Najar

Prayer service for Ruth Arlene Najar, 60, of Carrizozo will be Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 7:00 P.M. at Santa Rita's Catholic Church in Carrizozo where the funeral mass will be on Thursday, Sept. 3, at 10:00 A.M. Mrs. Najar passed away Thursday, Aug. 27, at her home in Carrizozo. She was born April 4, 1949 in Carrizozo to Verna and Wayland Hill Sr. who both precede her in death. She has lived in Lincoln County all of her life. She worked as a clerk at the Carrizozo Post Office for 22 years, she graduated from Carrizozo High School in 1967 as Valedictorian. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Lee Roy Najar; children, Debra Leigh Najar and family, Diane Marie Chavez and family, and Lee Najar Jr. and family; 3 brothers, Wayland Hill Jr. and family, Dennis Hill and family and Marvin Hill and family; sister, Sharon Lueras and family; grandchildren, Douglas Griffo Jr., Amber Griffo, Nicholas Chavez, Lindsay Chavez, Stefan Najar, Christian Najar, and Daniel Najar and several nieces and nephews.
