Born in Roswell, NM the 5th child of Robert Kyle Dunlap and N. Mildred Horn Dunlap.
Married Patricia Clark in 1972 while working in the Panama Canal Zone Police Department.
Lucky served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in the Panama Canal Zone as a Sgt. in the Military Police. He was honorably discharged in 1972 and returned to Panama where he served with the Canal Zone Police Dept. until it was turned back to Panama. The United States retained control of the Canal and he was employed by the Canal Commission until he retired in 1995. Lucky and Tita Patricia retired to Glencoe, New Mexico where he enjoyed his pastime of Karaoke. Lucky was a talented song writer, poet, and was loved by everyone that he came to know.
He was preceded in Death by his Father, Mother, and Brother Joe K. Dunlap.
He is survived by his Wife, Brothers John Nita Dunlap, Robert Linda Dunlap, Sisters Jacqueline Jerry Calkins, Marian Robert Thornton, and several nieces and nephews. Lucky will surely be missed by all.
