Rose Caudle

Graveside services for Rose Rosanna Caudle, 101, will be Monday, February 28, 2011, at 10:00 AM in Forest Lawn Cemetery of Ruidoso. She passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011 in Alamogordo, NM.

She was born November 9, 1909 to Robert and Lurana Nethery in Crawford County, Illinois. She moved from Indiana to Texas in the early 1930s. Over the years she moved between Texas, New Mexico, Nevada and Arizona, but she would always eventually return to Ruidoso, her favorite location and where she felt most at home.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry Caudle and his wife Susan of Canadian, Texas and Bobby Caudle and his wife, Judy of Ruidoso daughterinlaw, Dudette Caudle grandchildren, Jodi Creager, Waylon Scott, Tanya Caudle Morgan, Doka Caudle Cullender and Keri Caudle nieces, Paula NoblesFraley and Judy Turner and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lurana brothers, John, Frank and Hap sisters, Viola, Mary and Esther.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to hte caretakers at Betty Dare Good Samaritan Home in Alamogordo and Ruidoso Care Center in Ruidoso and to her doctors and nurses at Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center in Alamogordo.

The family has requested memorials to the Humane Society of Lincoln County, PO Box 2832, Ruidoso, NM 88355.
