Rosanna was born February 1, 1983, in Mescalero New Mexico to Danny H. Breuninger Sr. and Christine Duffy Kozine.
Rosanna is survived by her brother Danny Breuninger Jr., Sister Wendolyn Murphy, Sister Cassandra Breuninger, brother Eric Breuninger, and stepbrothers and sisters, Tanda Roberts, Chelsey Calvin, Justin Calvin, Sam O’Rourke, John O’Rourke, Justin Marshal and Richard Marshal, numerous cousins, nephews and nieces, uncles and aunts.
Over the course of Rosanna’s life, she lived in various parts of the country. In her early years of her life she lived in Mescalero NM, Fairfax VA, Tucson AZ, Truxton AZ, Ignacio CO., and Albuquerque NM, where she resided up until her death on July 22, 2023.
After graduating High School in Albuquerque, she attended Arizona State University in Tucson then return to Albuquerque to attend a local Community College.
Rosanna had an outgoing personality and made friends easily. She made numerous friends over her liflifetimee time and remained in touch with them up until her untimely passing. She was a very kind and compassionate person who loved animals, more specifically her dogs, Genghis and Jin whom she loved dearly. They were her family and children.
For a period of time Rossana was an activist in and around Albuquerque working to promote voting rights of Native Americans. She also worked for a period of time with one of her very close friends, Ms. Anathea Chino the Founder of a non-profit called, Advance Native Political Leadership promoting and encouraging Native People to become engaged in running for Public Office. The company works with Tribes nationwide.
In the last years of Rosanna’s life, she worked for the City of Albuquerque NM, with the Parks and Recreation program. Specifically, the City’s Bicycle Program. The program accepted used bicycles and refurbished them then donated or sold them to underprivileged people and the youth in the Albuquerque area. Rosanna loved her job and got a great deal of joy by giving back to the community she lived in.
Rosanna’s friends and family are heart broken. Rosanna’s spirit will live on until we meet her again.
