Ronald Valdez

Prayer service for Ronald Ronnie Valdez, 66, of Mescalero was Friday, April 17, at 6:00 PM at the Mescalero Reformed Church where the funeral service was on Saturday, April 18, at 9:00 AM with burial at the Mescalero Cemetery. Mr. Valdez passed away Wednesday, April 15, in Mescalero. He was born April 9, 1943 at Mesclaero and had lived there all of his life. He was a former BIA police officer, had worked as a security officer the the Inn of the Mountain Gods, a life operator at Ski Apache, and worked with road and building construction. For a short time he lived in Chicago and worked as a heavy equipment operator. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and raising horses. He attended the Mescalero Reformed Church. He is survived by a daughter, Miranda Valdez; sisters, Patrice Enjady, Daisy Valdez, and Esther Scott; brothers, Jerry Valdez, Larry Valdez, Jose Valdez, and Curtis Williams and numerous nieces and nephews.
