Ricky Stevens

Rick D. Stevens, 59, passed away in the early morning hours of April 22, 2020.

Born in April, 1961, in Oahu, Honolulu, Hawaii, Rick lived in many different locales before his family settled in Chicago, Illinois.

Rick remained in Chicago and became a stationery engineer where he worked and raised his family.  When his daughters were grown, Rick left Chicago for Ruidoso and a quieter life in the mountains.

Gifted at making things work when others thought it was impossible, Rick had a natural talent for mechanics and building things.  He was always busy with his many projects.

Rick knew he was loved by Carol, his soulmate of 23 years.  She survives him as well as his daughters Michelle and husband Eric; Rikki and husband Remar; and his 9 grandchildren.  He is also survived by his brothers, Eddie and partner, Tammy and David and wife, Mickey; sisters Terri and partner Mark and Lisa; father Edward and wife Gini; and his mother Marilyn and husband Jerry; and his kindred brothers, Byrd and Strug.
