Richard Vega Jr.

Prayer service for Richard Dickie Vega Jr., 48, of Las Cruces and formerly of Carrizozo will be Tuesday, April 23, at 10:00 AM with the funeral mass to follow at 10:30 AM at Santa Ritas Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery in Carrizozo.

Mr. Vega passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 in Las Cruces. He was born December 7, 1964 in Ruidoso and lived in Carrizozo until 1982 when he moved to Las Cruces to attend NMSU. He was a certified auto mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Herrera mother, Flora Vega of Carrizozo brother, Kenneth Vega and his wife Theresa of Carrizozo two sisters, Debra VegaCowan and her husband, Doug of Grenville, NM and Jaylen Fredericks and her husband P.J. of Albuquerque.
