Richard Dutchover

Prayer service for Richard Richie Dutchover, 81 of San Patricio, will be at 9:00 AM on Friday February 25, 2011 at St. Judes Catholic Church in San Patricio with the funeral mass to follow at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Hondo Cemetery with Military Honors.

Richard was born on February 1, 1930 in Hagerman, NM to Joe and Annie Nieto Dutchover and passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011 at his home in San Patricio. He has lived most of his life in Lincoln County. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War. He loved to cook and bake and made a profession of it at local restaurants and at the Inn of the Mountain Gods. He was know for the bread baskets he made, he loved wildlife and feeding wild birds. He looked forward to holidays so he could be with family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Randy Dutchover a sister, Eva Mae Chavez and his brothers, Henry, Joe, Robert, Adam, Tommy, Johnny and Charlie Dutchover.

He is survived by his sons, Ricky Dutchover and Blue Dutchover. He is also survived by one grandchild, Bluje Rose Dutchover and a great grandchild, Dracen Dutchover and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
