Rhonda Dew

After a short illness, on Sunday, May 17, 2009, the Lord called Rhonda Carlene Dew home. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Hal Ray Dew of Ruidoso; one brother, Ernest Bolles and his wife, Jenny of Georgetown, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Bolles and Emogene Bolles; one sister, Georgia E. Northcott and one brother, Tomas Dudley Bolles.

Rhonda was born on December 14, 1953 in Kermit, Texas and raised in Eunice, New Mexico. She was Miss Majorette New Mexico in the 1960's and went on to perform in numerous twirling competitions throughout Europe.

In July of 1972, she married her husband and soul mate, Hal Ray Dew in Eunice, New Mexico and they moved to Crane, Texas to start their life together. In 1989, the couple moved to Ruidoso, New Mexico where they have resided since.

Rhonda previously worked a the Lincoln County Courthouse in Carrizozo, New Mexico and most recently worked guest services at the Comfort Inn-Midtown of Ruidoso.

Rhonda was an angel to everyone she came into contact with. From friends to strangers, she brightened days with her friendly smile, her love of people, and her ability to always put everyone before herself. Rhonda Carlene Dew will be greatly missed and remembered by all.
