Rebecca Coonie

Rebecca Becky Coonie, 50, of Mescalero passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Mescalero. She was born June 12, 1962 at Mescalero and had lived there all of her life. She worked at the Mescalero Day Care Center.

Survivors include her children, Karena Coonie, Kelsey Coonie, and Marie Aragon sisters and brothers, Karen Aragon, Lela Cupit, Alice Coonie, Lelena Coonie, Hubert Coonie Sr., and Carlyle Coonie two grandchildren, Jazmere Randolph and Tyberius Coonie she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Godines and a brother, Leroy Coonie.

Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 17, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM with the prayer service at 6:00 PM at St. Josephs Mission where the funeral mass will be on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the White Tail Cemetery.
