Rebecca Campbell

May 27, 1944 — August 18, 2024

Rebecca "Beckie" Martin-Campbell, 80, of Ruidoso, New Mexico was called peacefully into heaven on August 18, 2024 surrounded by her close family. She entered this world on May 27, 1944 in Wewoka, Oklahoma born to Cranston "Daddy Hicks" and Maryetta "Lois" Martin. She grew up in Eunice, New Mexico where she graduated high school in 1962 as a proud "Cardinal". Beckie retired from Halliburton Energy Services in 2000 after 20 years of dedicated service. She relocated to Ruidoso at that time to enjoy her retirement and remaining years on the mountain she dearly loved.

Beckie is survived by her special niece, Kris Kelton of Jal, New Mexico; granddaughter, Joycelynn Pyburn-Gregory and Kyle of Las Cruces, New Mexico; grandson, Tracy Naugle and Deanna of Alamogordo, New Mexico; grandson, Jacob Pyburn of Texas; daughter-in-law, Sherry Pyburn of Ruidoso, New Mexico; extended family, Bobby Harvey and Colleen of Pullman, Washington and Bev Harvey-Sandlin of Niceville, Florida. Beckie had several people in her life that deeply loved her including, brother-in-law, Mike Kelton of Jal, New Mexico and Debbie McClintick of Hobbs, New Mexico. She had 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Beckie was preceded in death by her parents, Cranston and Maryetta Martin, sister, Linda Martin-Kelton, brother, Robert "Bob" Martin, husband, Donald Campbell, son, Michael Pyburn and extended family, Betty Harvey-Cobb.

Viewing and family/friends gathering will be held on Thursday, August 22nd from 4 to 6 PM at LaGrone Funeral Home, Ruidoso, New Mexico. Her celebration of life service will be held at Calvary Chapel Ruidoso on Friday, August 23rd at 2:00 PM officiated by pastor, Anthony Geraci and Mike Kelton.

Family requests white or happy colors be worn and loving stories/memories be shared.

A special thank you goes out to the loving and compassionate ICU staff including Dr. Gonzales, Amber, Michelle, and Stephanie at Lincoln County Medical Center.
