Raymond Sanchez

Raymond S. Sanchez was born August 9, 1944 in Arabela, NM to Olympia and E.C. Sanchez.

Raymond worked for the village of Ruidoso and retired after 25 years. Hard working and smart he studied and learned all the lines and knew them like the back of his hand. Raymond was a hard worker and inspired and encouraged his family members to do the same. Raymond is a deeply loved husband, father, and grandfather.

He went peacefully surrounded by his close family members in his home on Friday March 5, 2021.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Sanchez. His son, Ronnie T. Sanchez and Amy Irvine; daughter Kateri Claunch and her husband Terry Claunch. Grandchildren, Brooke Ceballos and Samantha Knox, Ronnie Frayre and husband Ruben Frayre, Noah Kesler, Mark Raymond Sanchez, Steven Carpenter, Braxtn Payne and great granddaughter, Octavia Kesler; sister, Mary Garcia; brothers, Johnny Sanchez and Joseph Sanchez.

Each of us hold many happy memories that get us through this tough time. Thank you for being the best role model and father figure to many. We love you Dad.
