Ramona Nunez

Ramona M Nuñez was called home to our Lord on Tuesday November 5, 2024. Born on April 11, 1939 to Ysidro and Pablita Chavez of San Patricio, New Mexico. Ramona is survived by her 4 boys, Dwain (Diane), Larry (Kelly), Darrel (Barb), and Dody (Patty). Thirteen grandchildren, Kacee, Leslee, Joanne, Justin, Sofia, Joleen, Jared, Curtis, Amberlee, Tylor, Eric, Chelsie, and Kayla. Eighteen great grandchildren, Alyssa, Daniel, Gianna, Monique, Caleb, Hunter, Jonathan, Anayi, Michael, Sienna, Eric, Autumn, Zander, Lexi, Jude, Kolt, Echo, and Mark. One great-great grandchild, Wrenley. Three siblings, Oralia Sanchez, Reynel Martinez and Eileen Sedillo. And her two cats Annie and Boots. Ramona had many relatives and friends that were dear to her and will also miss her. Preceded in Death by her daughter Valerie, grandson Nathaniel, daughter-in-law Debbie, fourteen siblings, Grace, Amarante, Inez, Adela, Senon, Sipio, Oralia (1st), Luvin, Emiliano, Melvin, Danny, Humphrey, Efrain and Josie.

Ramona was known for her kind heart, generosity, and love for her family and friends. When we would stop and visit, she always whipped up a tasty home cooked meal for all. She was the heart and soul of the family and will be greatly missed.

Life Celebration will take place at 11:00 AM on November 23, 2024 at St. Jude Catholic Church Center in San Patricio, NM. There will be no burial services at this time. A special thank you to Larry Nuñez and Kelly Byers, Evelyn and Danny Sanchez and Amberlee Nuñez for all the special care they provided to our mom in her final years here with us.
