Rafaela Parra

A funeral mass for Rafaela Apodaca Parra, 58, of Carrizozo will be Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 10:00 AM in Santa Rita's Catholic Church in Carrizozo. Ms. Parra passed away Thursday, Sept. 11, in Ruidoso. She was born July 17, 1950 in Carrizozo to Ernesto Apodaca and Pauline A. Manriquez who both precede her in death. Rafaela loved to go to the casino and play the penny machine. She also loved to be at home with her family and looking at the mountains. She was a homemaker and attended Santa Rita's Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, Jose Apodaca, Baltimore Apodaca, Ramon Navarette, Jesus Navarette, Antonia Navarette, Merced Parra, Vicotr Parra, and Sunshine Parra-Butt and 17 grandchildren.
