Paul Allen Smith

Born in 1933 in Woodville, Oklahoma, Paul Allen Smith passed away after an incredible life of 90 years. He was known to most as P.A. and displayed a life of generosity and was an outstanding horseman and cattleman. He lived life his way and was a true cowboy up to the end. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Allen Smith and Bertie Lou Smith, and his son, Ricky Lee Smith. Paul is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Michele Smith; sons, Kenny Paul Smith, and Joshua Abe Smith; daughter, Tammy Kae Smith; and sister, Lona Horton. Please join us for Paul’s funeral service at the Ruidoso Downs Racetrack Chapel on Friday, December 1^st, 2023, at 1:00 pm followed by a graveside service at Gavilan Canyon Cemetery. Following the service, family and friends will gather to celebrate Paul at the Ruidoso Downs Racetrack Cantina. In lieu of flowers the family asks that any memorial donations or contributions be made to the Racetrack Chapel at PO Box 449 Ruidoso Downs, NM 88346 with the memo: Benevolence fund/memory Paul Smith.
