Patrick Pafford

Patrick Benard Pafford passed away peacefully at his home in San Patricio, New Mexico on March 15, 2023. Pat was born on July 2, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas to parents Betty Ruth Morrow and Winton Benard Pafford.

Pat completed high school in Albuquerque, NM in 1970. Pat proudly served his country as a helicopter mechanic in the Marine Corps and was a Vietnam Veteran.

Pat and his wife Gloria made their home on the river in San Patricio, New Mexico. Pat worked for and retired from Penasco Valley Telephone.

Pat was preceded in death by wife Gloria Pafford, son Zachary Pafford, and daughter Tammy Duncan. He is survived by his two grandsons Justin Kase Duncan and Dane Kolby Massengill who lived with him at the family home in San Patricio, New Mexico. Pat is also survived by brother Joel Pafford (Joelynn) of Raton, New Mexico and sister Beth Lee of North Dakota.

Visitation is scheduled at La Grone Funeral Chapel located in Ruidoso, for Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 1:00 pm with a memorial service on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the Gateway Church of Christ in Ruidoso, New Mexico.
