Olympia Sanchez

Prayer service for Olympia Ola Sanchez, 90, of Ruidoso will be Friday, June 11, at 6:00 PM in St. Judes Catholic Church at San Patricio where the funeral mass will be on Saturday, June 12, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Judes Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Sanchez passed Saturday, June 5, 2010 at her home in Ruidoso. She was born May 21, 1920 at San Patricio, NM to Raymundo and Augustina Sanchez who both precede her in death. She lived in Lincoln County all of her life. She was a loving, dependable, Mom and Grandmother. She loved to crochet and work in her flower garden and she was very good cook.

She is survived by her children, Raymond Sanchez and his wife, Barbara of Capitan, John Sanchez and his wife of Erlinda of Santa Fe, Mary Garcia and her husband Ceasar of Arabela and Joseph Sanchez of Tatum a sister Lucy Chavez of Santa Fe and Gonsigata Sanchez who she considered like a sister 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, E.C. Sanchez her children, Baby Mary Sanchez, Jimmy Sanchez, Jane Baca, and Darlene Moore her brothers and sisters, Eulalia Sanchez, Luis Sanchez, Sofio Sanchez, Viene Torrez, Aneda Chavez, and Miquela Chavez.
