Norma Smith

Norma L. Smith, 71, of Ruidoso passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 in Ruidoso. She was born October 19, 1942 at Wellington, TX. She has been coming to Ruidoso from Goliad, TX since the mid 1980s. She moved here permanently one year ago from Goliad. She married Tommy Smith on March 8, 1979 at Las Vegas, NV.

She is survived her husband, Tommy her children, Charles Boyd Mathis and his wife, Michelle of Corpus Christi, TX and Renee Mathis Hale and her husband, Randy of Corpus Christi, TX step son, T.J. Smith and his wife, Monique of Goliad, TX two brothers, Ken Stafford and his wife, Bertha of Kerrville, TX and Samuel Stafford Sonja of Corpus Christi, TX sister, Tina Stafford Wharton, TX 6 grandchilden, 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Robert Stafford.

Memorial service will be Saturday, March 8, at 2:00 PM in the North 40 at Cree Meadows Country Club in Ruidoso.
