Millie Snow

Funeral services for Millie Jo Snow, 87, will be Sunday, Dec. 13, at 2:00 P.M. in the Country Club Road Church of Christ in Roswell with Doug Austin officiating. Burial will follow at the Duncan Cemetery in Duncan, Oklahoma. Mrs. Snow passed away Friday, December 11, 2009 in the Mescalero Care Center. She was born August 20, 1922 in Velma, Oklahoma to Joe and Millie Hollis. She loved to travel and go fishing. She retired from GTE in the late 1970's. She had lived in Hobbs, NM from 1951 until 1988 when she moved to Warika Lake, Oklahoma and then moved to Roswell in 2001, she attended the Country Club Road Church of Christ. She married James W. Snow, Sr. in 1940 at Frederick, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death in 1988. She is survived by her son, James W. Snow, Jr. and his wife Caron of Alto, NM; a brother, Teddy Ray Hollis of Arcadia, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren, Walter Cody Snow of Colorado, Summer Gayle Dudley of Alaska and Tracy James Snow of California; a great granddaughter, Delaney Claire Dudley and she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Deanna Gayle Snow. Mrs. Snow loved her family, especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
