Mckinley Mcteigue

Rosary for McKinley McTeigue, 89, of Las Cruces and formerly of the Hondo Valley will be Saturday, March 2, at 9:15 AM with the Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Hondo Cemetery.

Mr. McTeigue passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 in Las Cruces. He was born March 9, 1923 at Arabela, NM and had lived in Lincoln County most of his life. He was a teacher and principal at the Hondo Schools retiring in 1986. He attended St. Judes Catholic Church. He married Nora Sanchez on June 21, 1951 at Lincoln and she preceded him in death on February 13, 1989.

He is survived by his children, Victoria Marie Esquibel of Velarde, NM, Donald McTeigue of Santa Fe, Deborah Ann McTeigue of Las Cruces, and Ray Dean McTeigue of Hondo sister, Lucia Sanchez of Hondo two brothers, Jimmy McTeigue of Arabela and Bill Mc Teigue of Hondo and 5 grandchildren.
