Mary was born as a 5th generation Lincoln County baby boomer in the early 50's. She graduated from Ruidoso High in 1970 and soon after married another local, Albert Randolph, and started a family where she was a devoted Mom.

In 1989, as her kids were all in school, Mary wanted a change and began working as an aid for the local school district's handicap bus and got her Cosmetologist's license. She was a successful hairdresser and opened her own Beauty Salon, Hair Remedy, in the mid 90's.... sometimes she would even make house calls to work on her infirmed customers and with remarkable determination continued cutting hair up until January of this year.

She met her longtime partner, Mike Bryant, in August of 1995. They shared many years together, traveling with friends and family, including numerous bowling and Vegas trips. They also enjoyed countless outings riding their Harley motorcycle together.

As generous and compassionate as anybody, she was a devoted member of the Catholic church, often gifting rosary books and prayer necklaces to close friends and family. She had a Cross collection to rival anyone's and Heaven has surely gained an Angel.

Mary loved family gatherings, was "Nana" to not only her true granddaughters, but to numerous of their friends...was an excellent cook, and amongst various dishes was known for her homemade salsa and mac and cheese.

Mary died this past Sunday relatively peacefully surrounded by her family and beloved cats after valiantly battling a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy for the last 20 years. She loved her cats and leaves behind 15 or so of them to Mike to remind him of her, the salt of the earth.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to the Humane Society of Lincoln County
