Martin Enjady

Visitation for Martin Luther Enjady, 77, of Mescalero will be Friday, July 31, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. The prayer service will be Friday at 6:00 PM in St. Joseph's Mission at Mescalero where the funeral mass will be on Saturday, Aug. 1, at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at the Mescalero Cemetery. Mr. Enjady passed away Wednesday, July 29, in Albuquerque. He was born September 4, 1931 at White Tail, New Mexico and had lived on the Mescalero Apache Reservation all of his life. He served in The Army during the Korean War and had worked as a surveryor on road maintenance with BIA and had also worked as a lift operator at Ski Apache. He is survived by three sons, Kevin Enjady, Kerry Enjady, and Ernest Enjady; two daughters, Kathryn Enjady and Vanora Smith; a step-daughter, Edwina Smith; three sisters, Constance Enjady, Mona Joy Lopez and Anita Jane Sanchez; 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
