Manuela Flores

Visitation for Manuela M. Flores, 78, of Alamogordo and formerly of Ruidoso will be Thursday, Aug. 30, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso. The funeral mass will be Friday, Aug. 31, at 10:00 AM in St. Eleanor's Catholic Church in Ruidoso at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Flores passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, in Alamogordo. She was born August 1, 1929 at La Ochoa, Durango, Mexico. She moved to the Ruidoso-Alamogordo areas in 1975 from Durango, Mexico. She was a housewife and a member of the Catholic Church. She married Miguel A. Flores in 1961 at Durango, Mexico. She is survived by her husband, Miguel; her children, Braulio Montelongo and his wife Sheila, Abel Montelongo and his wife Priscilla, Tonia Nevarez and her husband Luis, Guillermina Marquez and her husband Jose, Aureliano Rodriguez and his wife Maria, Javier Rodruguez, Estrella Quirarte and her husband Willie, Miguel Flores Jr. and his wife Doris, Pedro Flores, Rosalia Ardic and her husband Aytac, and Citalic Pino and her husband Darrin; 32 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.
