Manuel Vigil

Manuel Vigil, 67, of Carrizozo passed away Sunday, November 23, in Carrizozo. Manuel was born on February 19, 1941 in Carrizozo. He worked for the City of Carrizozo for many years. He was a member of Santa Rita's Catholic Church in Carrizozo. Manuel is survived by a sister, Carol and brother in law Joe Bucksath of Portales; nieces, Melissa Sisneros, Onika Ashmore and Ann-Marie Bucksath-Sena and nephews, Todd, Shawn, Edward and Patrick Bucksath; an uncle Joe L. Ortiz and an aunt, Oralia Najar and 15 great nieces and nephews including one great-great nephew. Funeral mass will be Saturday, Dec. 13, at 10:00 AM in Santa Rita's Catholic Church in Carrizozo with Father Franklin officiating. All honorary pallbearers will be all of his friends of the Community of Carrizozo.
