Mabel Blake

Visitation for Mabel Rae Naiche Blake, 81, of Mescalero will be Thursday, December 23, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. The prayer service will be Thursday, December 23, at 6:00 PM in St. Josephs Apache Mission where the funeral mass will be on Friday, December 24, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.

Ms. Blake passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 at Mescalero. She was born November 10, 1929 at Mescalero and had lived there all of her life. She was a retired secretary for the Mescalero Apache Tribe. She attended St. Josephs Apache Mission.

She is survived by her children, Olinda Morgan, Sherman Blake Jr., Kathy Murphy, and Pascal Blake her sister, Clarice Rocha 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Take, O Lord, and receive my entire liberty, my memory, my understanding, and my whole will, all that I am and all that I possess, You have given me.
I surrender it all to You to be disposed of according to Your Will.
Give me only Your love and Your grace with these I will be rich enough and will desire nothing more.
