Lived in Devol, Oklahoma until 1932. Then family moved to Felix, New Mexico near Roswell. Attended grade school at Hagerman, New Mexico until 1939. Moved to Palo Verde, Ruidoso Downs. Attended Stetson Grade School, attended Hondo High School until students were transfered to Capitan Union High in Capitan. Graduated Valedictorian 1944. Moved to Oklahoma studied Commerical Art and received diploma from Art Instruction, Minneapolis, Minn. 1948. She married Coleman Wayne Joyce in 1948 in Randlett, Oklahoma. They lived in Green Tree Ruidoso Downs for about a year and moved back to the farm near Devol, Oklahoma. Dearl Wayne Joyce was born April 15, 1952. Her husband began pastoring Apheatone Bible Church, Apheatone, Oklahoma. Moved to Fort Worth, Texas so husband could attend Bible Baptist Seminary in 1954. Darlene Marie was born December 28, 1956. Moved to Mount Pleasant, Texas where husband pastored Mount Pleasant Baptist church after graduation. Moved to Ruidoso Downs in 1958. Helped husband start Ruidoso Baptist church in February 1959. Louise taught Sunday school classes for 40 Yearsin Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico. She loved writing the lessons for the differentclasses. She was Church Secretary and Treasurer for over 23 years. Louise is survived by her husband Wayne of the home, Her son, Dearl Wayne Joyce of McKinney, Texas. A brother Tommy Joe Kirby and wife Dorothy of Azle, Texas also survive her. Three aunts also survive Louise, Sylvia, Johnnie and Estelle. Louise is preceded in death by her daughter Darlene Marie Joyce in 1988, and a aunt Eudocia Burk in 2005.
