Lois Frye

“Wherever a beautiful soul has been there is a trail of beautiful memories.”

Lois Jean Frye joined our heavenly father, November 11, 2021.  She was 86 years old.

Known by friends and family as Jean, she was a loving mother and grandmother.  Born in Chatfield, Minnesota, August 26, 1935 to Thomas and Alma Bailey, she was the youngest daughter of twelve children.

Jean is survived by her sister, Darlene Helgerson of St. Paul, Minnesota, children, Terri Brooks of Portland, Oregon;  John C. Frye of Las Cruces, NM; Mark Frye (Myrna) of Phoenix, AZ and Marla Romero (Jimmy) of Ruidoso, NM. Jean is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, David Martin, Jr. , Desiree Frye, Damaris Frye, Kimberly Laird (Ryan), Evan Romero, Dillen Romero and her great-granddaughters, Ava Frye, Mila Frye and baby Laird.

Jean is proceeded in death by son David Martin, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at LaGrone Funeral Home of Ruidoso on December 11, 2021 at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Lincoln County Food Bank.
