Lloyd Clevenger

Lloyd Homer Clevenger was born February 10, 1938 in Bailey County, Texas. He died September 5, 2011 at his home in Alto N.M. at the age of 73. He went to school at Bula Elementary School and Littlefield High School.

Lloyd entered the U.S. Air Force in April, 1958. He was working in the jet engine shop in Del Rio, Texas when he retired as a Master Sergeant in April of 1980. After his retirement they moved back to Littlefield, Texas where he worked for the Sheriffs Department, Police Department, and was a Justice of the Peace.

He married Jan L. Pearson December 20, 1959 at her sisters home in Lubbock, Texas.

He is survived by his wife Jan, two daughters Teresa and her husband Tom Riggles and Sheila Sullivant, grandchildren Bryan, Donovan and Dana Riggles, Matthew and Eryn Sullivant
and great grandson Alex Sullivant and his sister Gloria Jean Logsdon, sisterinlaw Dorothy Clevenger Jordan, stepbrother Ray Mayfield and numerous family and friends. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents Charles H. and Lessie Jordan Clevenger, daughter Tammy Denise Clevenger, stepfather Dean Mayfield, stepbrother Larry Mayfield, brother David Clevenger and his sister Faye Shaw.

Funeral service will be Friday, September 9, at 10:00 AM at Hammons Funeral Home Chapel in Littlefield, Texas with burial to follow Littlefield Memorial Park.

The family requests memorials to Bonita Park Campground or Angus Church in lieu of flowers or plants.
