Librado Valdillez

Visitation for Librado C. Valdillez, 85, of Ruidoso will be Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7:00 PM. Burial will follow on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery in Santa Teresa, NM. A memorial service will be held Friday, Dec. 14, at the Ruidoso Downs Race Track Chapel at Noon. Officiating will be Pastor Darrell Winter and Pastor James Lindenberger. Mr. Valdillez passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Mescalero Care Center. He was born May 31, 1922 at La Union, NM to Marciala and Alejandro Validellez. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Retired Railroad and had retired from Southern Pacific. He is survived by his wife, Santos Montoya Valdillez of El Paso; children, Magdalena O'Campo of Ruidoso, Librado Valdillez Jr. and his wife Martha of El Paso, Ramona Campoverde of Ruidoso, Marcella Valdillez of Fountain Valley, California, Dolores Valdillez of Southern California, Gregorio Montoya of El Paso, Leonides Ipock of El Paso, Samuel Valdillez of El Paso, Virginia Guillen of La Union, NM; brothers, Ramon Valdillez of San Jose, CA, Alejandro Valdillez of Wilmington, CA; step-brothers, Jose Maldonado of Anapra, NM and Gasper Tarango of El Paso; 22 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
